Industrial Rock Music Meshes with Recovery Help Like Glue
Industrial music has often been more archaic, yet this is evolving. There is this cool recovery rock I came across by Matt Soren that has a unique perspective on electro-rock. His project is a mix of industrial rock and the concept of overcoming addiction.
There are some songs on his website at www.returnfrombroken.com. It sounds like the mixes are provisional while wrapping up mastered recordings. They sound high quality to me but that’s just me. It is cool to find more industrial rock like this written directly for addiction recovery in a more entertaining way from a person that has already been through it and is making a difference for others in addiction. Plus It’s nice to see this type of rock arising from the industrial outlet which is usually more archaic in nature.
