How to get more traffic using Twitter For Business

The 140 character whiz kid know as Twitter has carved itself quite a media storm this year with a army of authority figures discussing Twitter on their television shows , and business strategists telling us you can use Twitter to new business leads , the interest in Twitter is at a record peak . You almost certainly have friends and work colleagues on Twitter and you may well have received bribes o follow people on Twitter. That segues us to our main topic . What are YOU doing about it for yourself?

It seems as though many people are still ignoring the potential of Twitter. That could be because it’s potential is disguised inbetween benile posts about breakfast choice.

Regardless of how you feel about Twitter personally, there are some great strategies you should consider and there’s a great FREE training video about that at http://www.TrafficHug.com/twittervideo/ but whatever you do, you should be doing something. The least you’re likely to achieve is a handful of great relationships , ideally with some way of people finding you by your keyword, or your name. I mean a few people are just going to wonder if your business (or you) are on Twitter and type in twitter dot com slash acme widgets. Now it will be embarrassing is a cyber squatter is sitting on your own name, so another good reason to make sure you secure your place in the Twit’o'sphere. (By the way things can be done about cyber squatters, just ask me.)

In other articles we talk about how to get noticed for your keyword and how to manage your account for targeted conversion (also covered well in that free video I mentioned earlier) but let’s do something we can do right now.

Many people limit themselves to thinking Twitter traffic as coming from within Twitter itself . A concept most Twitter directories promote . But in the real Twitter , the advantages of having your existing customers join you on Twitter are many fold. So enormous that we need to do something about it now .

One thing we can do almost immediately is to add a Twitter “badge” to your website, eCommerce store or blog . A Twitter badge is a graphic saying who you are on Twitter with a hyperlink to your Twitter profile. In the videos I mentioned , there’s more advanced material , but the badge will get our toe in the water for today .

WHERE CAN I CREATE MY BADGE ?
You can get your own customised Twitter badge at no cost from the following website ;
http://www.TwitterDominator.com/followme_badges.php – Free Twitter badge .

You simply paste the HTML code it provides in to your website, store, or blog and your customised graphic with active link, will magically appear .

It also works on WordPress blogs. I’ve inserted one on all of my own blogs.

It is supplied in its own little HTML DIV tag so should reside fine almost anywhere.

If you create a table or div tag to position it in , then you can just paste the code in in that place . With WYSIWYG html editors, there is usually an HTML “object” box you can place in the desired location and just place the code in to that. Adobe Dreamweaver users can just insert an AP Layer (from the insert menu) and then paste the code in to that using the HTML code view pane.

The rewards from promoting your own Twitter profile are immense. From SEO to relationships to direct sales.

Villas Mijas Has To Offer!

Mijas Pueblo is for me, the prettiest village in all of the Costa Del Sol, and is a total contrast to the busy beachfront side of Mijas Costa. Together, they make up the resort of Mijas – a lovely area of the coast not far from Malaga and an ideal location for a family holiday.

With whitewashed buildings dotted over the landscape and hills Mijas is the typical postcard of Southern Spain. With bright blue Mediterranean against a backdrop of green mountains of Andalucia – I was keen to explore what self catering Villas Mijas has to offer for the seasoned tourist. Mijas has an excellent mix of accommodation, with traditionally styled townhouses for rent, a variety of standards of self catering apartments complexes with pools and a range of Villas for rent with views that make you wish you could retire to this beautiful spot in Spain.

After some serious research amongst the many excellent websites as well as local rental property agents, we settled for a niche provider who’s rapidly becoming a major player in quality villa rentals in Mijas – rentin-mijas.com Their professional approach, coupled with indepth local knowledge and personal touch was just what we were looking for.

We opted for an opulent villa in Mijas Costa, a grand 5 bedroom villa known as Olebe which impressed us on all levels. Spacious, superbly decorated to a high standard full of equipment and fine furniture. A nice sized private pool outside and even our very own sauna inside…. what a holiday !!

Like many holiday makers to Spain, golf was on the agenda seeing as the Mijas Golf Resort is pratically on Villa Mijas Olebe’s doorstep! Truly stunning, take a look for yourself at Rentin-Mijas’s web site, the specific Villas Mijas Olebe property link is here for those of you with a large group looking for somewhere very special in Mijas at a per person rate really hard to beat for such standards of quality.
